An early integrator of the FlexSCADA and Superwind combination system, Pete Tridish of International Media Action, has recently published about his experience with the fully integrated systems in Alaska. The Superwind is providing power to a battery system, which is being monitored and controlled by the FlexSCADA, and allowing an upgrade to KCAW in rural Alaska. The article highlights the challenges, benefits, and foresight planning for future projects of a hybrid system. It also details Mission Critical Energy’s commitment to our clients as we were involved in the configuration and programming of the FlexSCADA, as well as the installation needs of the Superwind.
